DAY 9 - Approaching Mixed Groups
Approaches
#1 - 2 girls and a guy sitting down at Yuerba buena park eating. Approached with a simple indirect opener and the group was very friendly
#2 - 2 girls and a guy sitting down on some stairs in front of the muesum. Approached with an indirect opener and the cuter girl of the two seemed a bit sassy like she wanted to engage me in some light banter. The guy seemed mildly uninterested but not rude.
Observations
#1 As I was searching for groups of 2 girls or more I noticed that it was extremely difficult to find these mixed sets. The interesting thing was that the focus I had in finding these types of sets was the exact same focus that I have when I am looking for girls to open. Since I was not looking for "HBs" to open and my focus was shifted the hot girls in 2 sets and by themselves did not capture my attention as much. This is a subtle observation but I realize that if the focus is placed to heavily on "finding" or "doing" something it can create some a bit of tension within. I know that this is an exercise for a skill and to destroy limiting beliefs but I think this realiztion was helpful in understanding how to channel focus and awareness.
#2 They're are way less mixed group sets than there are all female sets.
#3 After doing some many direct approaches it is interesting and different to approach a mixed set without displaying any intent to the girls and allowing them to naturally gravitate to me or not

Day 8 - Fine tune openers

The Cat People Cold Read
Cat - Assertive, strong personalities and convictions, feminine
Dog - Shy, gentle, masculine
#1 German girl responded with 'cat' and concluded that curiosity and adventure were traits that cats displayed which she claimed to be. I locked into set and sat down next to her and we chatted about cultural differences between Americans and Germans
#2 2 girls sitting down across from the Galleria, the more dominant one said she loved both and then spewed out a bunch of associations with cat owners and dog owners and that cat owners have more fear of commitment because dogs are higher maintenance
#3 Brunette by the bus stop. Giggled a lot and said that she was a dog person but did not necessarily agree with the associations.
Observations - All the girls were pretty fascinated with the questions and were friendly

Day 7 - Opening
Option 1 - come up with something spontaneous in the morning in route to work
Option 2 - Ask the following canned opener if you can not think of anything to be curious about
Option 3 - Go direct
Hey pardon me for a second let me ask you a quick question the other day my friend asked me for advice and I need a female's opinon on this....
Recently my friend met a girl while out at a bar who and she tells him that she has a BF, however even thought they didn't end up doing anything there was definetely a lot of physical chemistry and exchange of contact info
So my friend and she have been talking a bit and he thinks that something may develop between them and that she will leave her BF
The only catch is that she moved here from the East Coast to be with him but he travels a lot so she gets lonely, I personally don't think she will leave him but my friend does what would you do if you were the girl in this situation?
Ok than what would you do if you were in my friend's situation?
Approach 1 - Approached the Hostess at the Academy indirect asking for directions than transitioned into talking about the food and teased her for not convincing me that the food was good. Qualified her be telling her to teach me something, cold read that she was a student and guessed correctly that she was a science student NC'd
Approach 2 - Approached a girl by the DJ we talked about the Gutiarist playing along with the DJ and how cool that was, transitioned into talking about beauty pageants

Complimenting 4 strangers
#1 Angel - 3 set that walked by turned around pursued and stopped the brunette with, "you are adorable" found put her name was 'angel' so I asked 'did it hurt' she smiled and we parted ways
#2 Moving blonde - opened direct but could have owned the words more
#3 Mika - opened direct in front of the jamba juice chatted for about 5 minutes
#4 Summer - opened with flower stand opener and complimented her eyes

Requested assistance from a clerk at zara on scarfs and how to wear them. I also identified a pea coat that I want to cop. I will have some nice additions to my wardrobe now.

Day 4 - Alexander Technique
3 Clothing Store Suggestions
1 - Approached a white girl with a natural beauty look outside of urban outfitters who was nice and suggested budget stores, busted on her for assuming that I was cheap
2 - Approached a white girl from Illinois in Urban outfitters interaction went well however the number close transition was sloppy
3 - Approached an Asian girl on the street who was cautious at first but warmed up after I said, "because you seem to have a cool sense of fashion"
4 - Approached Asian girl in westfield wearing headphones and texting, I got her attention and she suggested H&M
